About

I’m a University of Texas at Austin graduate, with degrees in photojournalism and public relations. I’m especially interested in a career in travel writing, environmental reporting and documentary photojournalism. After two years as an Information Specialist at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, I now work at Wildlands Network as the Communications Coordinator, where I manage our website and produce email newsletters and alerts, social media, print projects, photos, and videos.

You’ll notice my personal portfolio is rather photography-focused, as that’s the content I produce most often in my personal life as a hobbyist photographer. I typically experience my many travels through my camera lens. In summer 2013, I studied abroad in Dublin for a month. A year later, I backpacked Europe for three months, taking my camera with me everywhere I went and producing one photo and travel story a day for 79 days. Since then, I’ve visited Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Europe, the Caribbean, and Mexico–in addition to exploring the many wonders of my new home, the Pacific Northwest.

On this website, I’ve collected the best of my work during my time at UT and from my professional career as a content producer and strategist. Look around, tell me what you think, and enjoy! Thanks for stopping by, y’all.
